Samvedana is the community outreach arm of Dr. Hedgewar Hospital, dedicated to taking healthcare beyond hospital walls into the slums, villages, schools, and underserved regions of Maharashtra.

Born from a deep sense of responsibility, Samvedana bridges the gap between quality healthcare and communities that are often left behind. Our doctors, nurses, and volunteers regularly conduct health camps, screenings, awareness sessions, and school health check-ups.

One Goal

no one should be denied health care because of distance or circumstance.
To ensure no community is left behind, Samvedana reaches people where they are in their homes, villages, and neighbourhoods, through these dedicated outreach services

Mobile Dispensary

A hospital on wheels, our mobile dispensary travels to remote and underserved areas, offering basic medical care, medicines, and referrals — right at the doorstep of those who need it most.

Akshayvat – Home Based Care

For patients who are bedridden, elderly, or chronically ill, our Akshayvat initiative provides compassionate care at home. From medical check-ups to emotional support, we ensure dignity and comfort in every visit.

DHH Subcentres

Our network of subcentres extends the reach of Dr. Hedgewar Hospital into rural clusters and urban slums. These centres offer outpatient services, maternal care, child health, and follow-up treatments building trust in local communities.
